You are a regional commander of the Resistance, a faction fighting for freedom and justice on the alien planet of Zalax. The planet is torn by a brutal civil war between the Resistance and the Dominion, a tyrannical regime that seeks to enslave the population and exploit the planet’s resources.


You have been leading your army in a desperate defense of your territory, but the odds are against you. The Dominion has superior numbers, weapons and technology, and they are closing in on your last stronghold: a massive tower that serves as your base and your weapon.


The tower is equipped with an automated defense system that fires bullets at the incoming enemies. You can also command the tower to unleash powerful skills that can turn the tide of battle. But be careful: the tower has limited energy and cooldowns, and you need to manage them wisely.


After each fight, you have a chance to upgrade the tower’s defense by choosing from a variety of items. You can improve the tower’s durability, firepower, accuracy, range and more. You can also unlock new skills and abilities for the tower as you progress.

Features

• One auto-firing tower at the center: you can have only one tower each run but there are many towers to choose from, and each has unique traits that can change your playstyle significantly.
  
• Up to 4 manual skills can be equipped at the same time: you can choose up to 4 skills from the skill pool to tactically defend your tower. Pick them wisely as each picked skill will unlock related items, and synergism is the key to scaling up your defense.
  
• Hundreds of items and upgrades: most items have both negative and positive effects, and are offered randomly. Improvise to craft your best builds.
  
• Roguelike experience: no meta-progress means no grinding, just use your best tactics to win a run.
  
• Fixed-time waves: to win a wave, you simply have to survive a fixed-time duration. Each wave lasts from 15 to 90 seconds.
  
• Endless mode: you only have to survive 20 waves to be considered beat a difficulty. But you can opt into Endless mode to test how long you can hold it!
  
• 5 difficulties: whether you're new to the genre or a veteran, you will find the right challenge for you.
