The year is 1909. The port city of Northpass is plagued by a deranged serial killer known as 'The Collector'.

You fill the role of The Detective. Your only goal is seeking misguided redemption by discovering, capturing, and unmasking this menace to your city. Your home.

But not all is as it seems, a dangerous artificial intelligence resides beneath the game itself in a horrifying fourth wall twist.

SINISTER AI does not confine itself to the game world. It is in the menus, it is in the save files, it is in the settings of your game instance. This AI will actively monitor your progression through the story, and seek to disrupt you when you stray from the railroad it sets you on.

The only way to beat SINISTER is to confront it directly. But be assured, it will not take your aggression lightly. You are in its domain, where it reigns supreme.

You will need to 'break' the game itself by straying past the interior game map into the exterior void, by purposefully ignoring important quest chains, or by catching SINISTER off-guard with your dubious morals or ethics. Ask yourself: What deeds would you commit in order to survive?

Semi-Open World — A richly-detailed world offers players the ability to navigate to sites of interest by foot, as well as walking off the beaten trail to explore that which street lamps do not illuminate.

Rich World-Building — The world of Sinister has been crafted with a careful hand. Every thread of the story, every line of dialogue, and every media tabloid illuminates the wider upheaval of a society and its industrial capacities, while still recoiling from a Great War.
