Ocelot Sunrise is a top-down action rogue-lite based in a unique Sci-Fi universe, with a very broad metagame that can add a unique twist to the genre. Re-discover a universe lost to an alien threat in a detailed Comic-Noir art style whilst bolstering your ship and systems to expand further and further into the unknown.

Replayability and draft equipment system: Explore a vast amount of combinations and build archetypes by trying out different scouts, upgraded abilities, and weapon combinations. Each scout has two active abilities(and one passive), and a piece of full equipment consisting of two projectile-based weapons, one grenade-type weapon, and one deployable/AI-based weapon. The scout’s gear is chosen throughout his current mission in a draft-style election, and once the full gear is selected, the options offered will all be upgrades on the current equipment.

Different biomes and missions: Within the difficult task of conquering the universe (once more), comes exploring each type of planet there is, with the risk of running into its dangerous enemies and environmental hazards. Upon arrival, the scout must deploy exploration beacons around certain parts of the map, and, once that step is done, relevant information on the planet will be analyzed, and new missions will be added to the current planet.

Economy system and commerce: In this universe, two types of currency lead the rebirth of the new world: scrap and genetic material. Scrap is gained by salvaging what’s left of the human civilization in this devastated universe. Genetic material is obtained by slaying creatures. Both these currencies will be used to buy blueprints and small artifacts from the merchants that wander around the galaxy.

Ocelot facility extensions and genetic modification layout: Besides acting as currency, scrap, and genetic material also have their uses for the Ocelot crew. The genetic material is also used by our crafty team of engineers, who provide the scouts with the possibility of upgrading their base attributes, as well as their own abilities in a genetic modification layout determined by slots. Scrap, on the other hand, is the raw material that gives the opportunity to extend the Ocelot and open up new useful facilities.
