Gathering:

Embark on dangerous expeditions to collect wood, stone, metal, and other valuable resources. Use these resources to further build your home and craft mighty equipment and fortifications.

Adventure:

Journey into the uncharted depths of Ithule's ancient dungeons, mines, and caves. Confront the lurking evils, engage in visceral combat, and bolster your fame and glory. Navigate perilous traps and crack intricate locks. In these gloomy depths, you'll discover more than just adversaries - unearth magical gear and valuable spoils to strengthen your stand against darkness.

Town Defense:

Gather all your friends and heed the distress call of neighboring villages and towns and become the hero they desperately need! Add a dash of strategy with the unique ability to teleport sections of your own town for enhanced defense in these epic battles.

• Villagers - As the battles progress refugees from defeated villages will begin to show up looking to survive. They're a vital resource and may provide help in the most unexpected ways. Just as you arrived as an untrained newcomer to Havenhold, you must continue to lead the training of other refugees from towns and cities decimated from recent invasions.

*TLDR From the Devs* Medieval Darkness is a game with many Roguelike elements where you can select from five launch classes, each with its own role, then craft your character's path with flexible skills unlocked with each level-up. But remember to check in with your class trainer else you won’t get that new skill - if they're still standing, that is. You progress through the game by doing missions in the three game modes:

• Gathering: Ideal for a solo or small party, can typically be completed quickly, rewards crafting materials.
  
• Adventure: Ideal for a small party or solo, crafting and construction take a backseat to combat, greater likelihood of rewarding items.
  
• Defense : Meant for Larger parties, Estimated 1-2 hours for completion, typically much harder.
