Frontera is a fantasy city builder and colony sim where you start with a small camp at the edge of a dark forest. Build up your settlement and economy to attract more settlers. Form a military to clear the forest, and claim it for yourself!

Establish production chains from gathering raw resources to refining them into tools, weapons, and amenities.

Store and bring products to the markets, where settlers will make purchases based on their needs and desires and you will collect taxes. Settlers will often also purchase new tools on their own which will increase their work productivity,

Use your collected funds to attract more settlers and import needed or rare materials from the rest of the realm. Buy titles and claims to expand your building area.

Raise an army to defend your settlement, fight monsters, and establish outposts that will grant passive resource generation. Your units will not often fight to the death, choosing to disengage or abandon their equipment to survive.

Make your way to deal with the center of the forest's monster infestation, after which your control of the area will be secured!
