Defenders of the Omniverse is a Reverse Bullet Hell Rogue-Lite set in a world between realities, where heroes and monsters from all across space and time face off in the final battle for the fate of the Omniverse! Play as mighty heroes, each with their own unique powers, and stop the villanous hordes of the Dark Wizard Umbros!
Key Features- Distinct Visuals - Our visual style is a vibrant blast from the past, with inspiration drawn from the super-hero comic books and saturday morning cartoons of days gone by. We’re going for a mix of 3D and hand-drawn 2D effects to try and get as close to that retro cartoon feel as possible.
- Variety of Enemy Mechanics - With our core gameplay being all about good positioning and movement, we decided to enhance it with a bunch of fun mechanics that will keep players on their toes. Enemies with unique attacks, random map events and hazards, and challenging minibosses are some of these.
- Flashy Ultimate Abilities - Setting us apart from our peers are the Ultimate Abilities of the playable heroes. These are powerful attacks that look awesome and devastate enemy hordes, but should be used wisely because of a long cooldown.
- A Multiverse of Characters - Our game takes place in the vastness of the Multiverse, which allows us to have an endless creative pool of characters to draw from. In keeping with our saturday morning cartoon vibe, we go for well-known archetypes of the 80’s, like cyborgs, ninjas, barbarians and pirates, while mixing it up to keep the heroes and enemies fresh and fun.
- Ultimate Final Boss - Every level ends in a showdown with the final boss/main villain of the game, the Dark Wizard Umbros, who has a random pool of devastating abilities, both unique and drawn from level’s enemies, which will test the player’s ability to dodge and strategize.
